KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A felon is now in custody after an hour-long police stand off on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers and the SWAT Team surrounded a home on Willard Street just off of North Westnedge Avenue just before 6 p.m. Thursday searching for a man with multiple felony warrants.
The suspect, who was reportedly hiding out with relatives, first refused to respond but later surrendered to authorities.
The felon’s name has not been released and the list of crimes is still unknown.
