HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Hospital will host its 2018 School Nurse 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, October 4.
It’s a non-competitive 5K run/walk is a fun, family event benefiting the hospital’s School Nursing Program.
The day will include food, refreshments and entertainment.
Students can enter the 5K for free, by completing ten 30-minute physical fitness activities of their choice prior to the event — and the hostpial is providing fitness trackers to help.
People who want to get a race-day shirt must register by Sept. 21. Children under 12 cannot participate without an adult.
Register by Sept. 21 to guarantee a shirt. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Since 1998, Holland Hospital’s School Nursing Program has been working to improve the health and well-being of k -12 students along the Lakeshore. From daily medication administration to treating playground bumps and bruises, the school nurses care for the physical, emotional and social needs of over 12,000 students.
