KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo’s homeless protestors will remain in Bronson Park this weekend.
The group squatting in the park they have once again rejected the city’s suggestion for an alternative campground.
This time the city pitched the Merchants Crossing, an area of shuttered businesses across from Arcadia Brewing at Michigan and Mill Street.
Like the site on Cedar Street, it’s another location across from a tavern which they say is unacceptable, because customers can get abusive.
They will meet again on Monday.
