KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Start your engines and polish that paint job, the Street Rods are rolling into Kalamazoo. National Street Rod Association’s Jim Rowlett says there is something for everyone this weekend at the the Street Rod Nationals North taking place at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center and fairgrounds.
The event runs Friday through Sunday and consists of over 2,500 unique vehicles, commercial auto vendors, resale parts and car materials, and much more.
Rowlett says they also have an arts and crafts area called “Women’s World” that is now bigger than years past.
Owners of cars 30-years-old or older can also be a part of the show and register their car at Four Points on East Cork Street on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

In addition to the classic and unique cars, attendees can also sit down and chat with the Sheriff.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller is hosting his Coffee with the Sheriff event at the Expo Center during the NSRA Street Road show.
Residents can bring questions, comments, or concerns to the Sheriff Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
He will be under the Sheriff’s Office canopy near the Expo Center entrance and coffee will be provided.
