BETHEL TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — It takes a special kind of criminal to break into a church, but this group apparently was not looking for the congregation’s latest offerings, the sacramental wine or the gold fixtures on the altar.
They broke into the Snow Prairie Bible Church in Branch County and took musical instruments, two Peavey amplifiers, a recording device, a sound mixer and a laptop.
State Police say they broke in sometime during the week.
Anyone with information about the heist in Bethel Township is asked to call State Police in Marshall.
