KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A driver who ran a stop sign at Race and Bryant in the Edison Neighborhood, and who really didn’t want to get stopped, fled with police in pursuit, but he is in custody this weekend.
After he nearly collided with a vehicle at another intersection PSO’s broke off the chase. Late Friday night they found the car parked in a driveway on Miller Road.
The male suspect took off on foot through back yards when he saw the PSO’s had found him.
They brought in K-9 Bach who sniffed out the suspect hiding near a garage in the 1100 block of Miller Road.
The 40-year-old was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on 8-outstanding warrants.
Public Safety added charges of fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest to his booking charges at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
