BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –The Battle Creek Police Department is stepping up to the LipSync Challenge.
Their latest dance competition features a compilation of songs like “Welcome to My House,” “I’m not afraid,” “Work,” and an officer on duty calling his wife to the song “Kiss Me Through The Phone.”
The department released a statement with the video saying, “The BCPD family is proud of Battle Creek! Thank you for the opportunity to serve the Battle Creek community for more than 117 years. Be safe, stay aware, be kind, laugh more, and enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it — and then laugh some more!”
The police lipsync battles have popped up across the nation with Kalamazoo Public Safety officers releasing theirs earlier this month.
The movement shows the “human side” behind every officer and challenges other departments to get creative, get up, and get their groove on.
