HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The 2018 Holland Wings of Mercy CareAffaire fundraiser is set for Saturday, Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. to noon at Tulip City Air Service, West Michigan Regional Airport.
The day begins with the Wings of Mercy Runway 5K. Same-day registration and packet pick up will start at 7:00 a.m.
The Young Eagles volunteers are offering free plane rides for kids ages 8-17. That starts at 8:30 with registration available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Classic cars and vintage aircraft will be on display along with plane and helicopter rides for an additional donation.
Wings of Mercy is a nonprofit faith-based group of pilots who transport critically ill people to distant medical centers.
