RICHLAND (WKZO AM/FM) — The MEDC has released a map and additional details on their plans to expand testing in the Richland area.
They now say they have included the testing area to include 26 additional homes just to the north and east of the first investigation area.
Those homeowners are being contacted by health officials by mail setting up a time to obtain a sample of their water, under exacting protocols to make sure the samples will be lab quality.
If a homeowner isn’t there when the samplers arrive, they will leave a door hanger with further instructions.
They say it will take about a month for the results to be returned.
