KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Residents in the Vine and Westnedge Hill neighborhoods once again have a grocery store within walking distance.
This week Midtown Fresh opened its doors at the same location of the old Hardings store at Westnedge and Howard.
In addition to local produce and other products, the store will also feature a kitchen and a cafe that will open soon.
It’s smaller than the Hardings, which means there is room for an Ace Hardware store and other businesses.
The store is open from seven a.m. to nine p.m. Monday through Saturday and from seven a.m. to seven p.m. on Sundays.
