ALAMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan State Police Paw Paw Post is investigating a two vehicle crash and rollover on US-131.
It occurred around 1:45 a.m. Thursday on southbound US-131 near B Avenue in Kalamazoo County’s Alamo Township.
Authorities say one driver rear-ended another, struck a guardrail, rolled the vehicle, and then fled on foot.
The two occupants in the front vehicle were not injured.
Deputies located the at-fault driver nearby and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, but the incident is still under investigation.
