GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO AM/FM) — An Amber alert has been issued for a little girl in Grand Rapids who has disappeared with a man named Terrell from a gas station at 44th and Kalamazoo.
State Police say the three were in a vehicle that stopped at the station. She got out to go into the convenience store and he drove off with the one year old baby.
Jennell Ross tells police that she met the man four weeks ago, and although they had a relationship, she doesn’t know his full name, where lives or works or phone number.
He is described as a black male in his late 20’s, 5’8’ with a muscular upper body, chin hair and a missing tooth on the upper left side. He wears his hair in braids. Terrell was last known to be wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and black or gray tennis shoes.
20-month old Jaionna Ross is about 25-lbs and was last seen with a pink top, blue shorts and her hair in ponytails held with rubber bands.
The vehicle was found a short distance from the gas station with the child seat in the back.
Only the baby was missing, and they believe she may be in danger. Anyone with information should call Grand Rapids police or 911 where ever they are.
