COOPER TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Three people are critically injured after a head-on crash in Cooper Township.
It happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday on North 12th Street, which is a two lane rural road, south of West E Avenue.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies say the man driving a grey Chevy Impala with a female passenger crossed the center line to try to pass the car in front of him and misjudged how much time and distance he had.
He collided head-on with a gold Ford Mustang.
The two in the Impala and the woman driving the Mustang were all rushed to local hospitals with critical injuries.
No names have been released and the incident is still under investigation.
