HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — After an extended search, Holland City Council approved hiring Kathy Mitchell, who worked for Holland Hospital since 2004, first as a manger of off-site facilities, then as a Physician Recruitment and Practice Development manager.
Her city clerk role will include supervising city elections, coordinating licensing activities, serving as the freedom of information coordinator and directing day-to-day operations of the City Clerk’s Office, as well as serving on a variety of boards, commissions and authorities.
Mitchell is a Western Michigan University graduate, with a bachelors degree in public relations and marketing. She and her family have lived in the Holland area for several years.
Mitchell starts work on August 13th — after the Aug. 7th primary.
