KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A 19-year-old apparent drug dealer is in custody after a late night noise complaint sparked an investigation on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers were called to the area of Elizabeth Street and Cobb Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday after a neighbor complained about a vehicle blasting music.
They stopped the driver and found a stolen handgun, and a wide variety of merchandise, marijuana, crack cocaine, heroin, a digital scale and related drug paraphernalia inside the car..
The suspect, who is not a resident of Kalamazoo, was booked into the County Jail on three gun felonies, three drug charges and a citation for excessive noise.
