HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) — Two area gas stations, both Mobil, were robbed at gunpoint this morning, July 23, 2018.
Holland police were called just after 6:30 a.m. to the Mobil at 1122 Lincoln Ave., in Holland on a robbery report.
The clerk reported that a male subject entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cash, according police. After the clerk handed over an undetermined amount of cash the suspect ran out of the store, got into a vehicle and was last seen headed south bound on Lincoln Ave., police said.
The suspect is described as an unknown race male, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7, slim build, wearing blue jeans, a dark colored jacket, camo-colored face covering and black and white Converse Chuck Taylor shoes, accordingn to police.
Police found an image of the suspect’s vehicle, a silver-and-maroon colored four-door sedan.
About 20 minutes after the incident in Holland, the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office were called to a similar robbery at the Mobil in Hamilton, involving the same suspect.
