ALLEGAN (WKZO AM/FM) – Fifty-five-year-old Gregory Marsman has been convicted of assault, after pouring acid in the face of his now ex-girlfriend, leaving her disfigured and legally blind.
He’s been sentenced to prison for 30 to 60 years for the assault by an Allegan County judge.
The attack happened at her home in Fennville in Southern Allegan County in March, 2016.
Sheryl Keach returned home to find him trashing her home. He then attacked her. Police found that he had left satanic messages behind.
Marsman cut a deal with prosecutors, pleading no contest but mentally ill to torture.
He has two previous convictions for domestic assault.
