COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An 18-year-old girl is suffering from serious injuries after a 2 vehicle crash in Comstock.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputes say it happened around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Market Street and Sprinkle Avenue.
Officials believe the two vehicles thought they both had the right of way and collided in the intersection.
The two drivers, aged 19 and 67, suffered only minor injuries, but the younger passenger was found lying on the ground after she was thrown from one of the vehicles.
She was loaded into a Pride Ambulance and rushed to Bronson Emergency for treatment.
Alcohol was not a factor, but the collision remains under investigation.
