KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are investigating after an Eastside resident heard gunshots and then realized that he was the one that was shot.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when the victim showed up to a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man explained that he was getting out of his vehicle in the 900 block of Hazard Street when he heard gunfire and then discovered that he was shot.
The suspect description is currently unknown but anyone with some information should call the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety or Silent Observer.
