KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Township Police are telling residents that if they get a call from a person claiming to be an officer, who threatens to arrest them if they don’t turn over money and personal information, get as much information as you can about the caller and then call the police.
Whatever you do, don’t give them money or any truthful personal information.
Lt. Scott Jackson with the Township Department says their department, and no other department that he knows of would ever handle its business in that manner, especially make inquiries about personal finances.
