KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Two Kalamazoo men are paying the price after a couple of bank robberies last year.
56-year-old Allen Nutter and 45-year-old Donald Guess were charged with robbing a Comerica Bank on West Main Street in Oshtemo on December 14th and then holding up a PNC Bank on West Michigan Avenue in Galesburg two days later.
The two cut deals with U.S. attorneys and have now been sentenced to about 5 years in a federal prison.
Nutter will do 5 more months than Guess.
Both have also been ordered to pay over $3,069 in restitution, which adds up to exactly twice of what they stole.
