HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Ottawa County Patriots will host two candidate forums in Zeeland at the Howard Miller Library, 14 S .Church St. in Zeeland, from 6:45-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
The club will showcase two Republican candidates for attorney general: Tonya Shuitmaker and Tom Leonard.
Three of the four Republican candidates for the Michigan Senate seat currently held by the term-limited Arlan Meekof: Roger Victory, Rett deboer, and Joe Haveman. A fourth candidate, 90th State Rep. Daniela Garcia let the club know she couldn’t atttend, but will send a video message to those present.
The primary election, which will winnow down the Republican candidates to one per categeory, is set for Aug. 7.
