HOLLAND TWP. (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies and Holland police were called to the report of an armed robbery at the CVS, 132 Douglas Ave., just before 5:20 this morning, July 12, 2018.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett said two suspects armed with handguns demanded narcotics from the clerk, who was asaulted and restrained.
The clerk sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Bennett said.
The suspects “obtained an undisclosed amount of narcotics,” Bennett said. They appear to have left the scene of foot, he said; no vehicle was seen.
He sent photos obtained by security cameras in an effort to elicit tips from the public to arrest the duo.
