BENTON HARBOR (WKZO AM/FM) — Benton Harbor Public Safety is trying to find suspects in a pair of shootings early Sunday morning that killed two men and injured a man and a woman.
In the first shooting, 22-year-old Andre Sanders was shot multiple times on Lavette, jjust a block from the spot where police were breaking up a house party.
Sanders was taken to Lakeland Hospital by a private vehicle, where he later died.
About two hours later, around 3:30 a.m., police were called to what they call a “chaotic” scene on Edgecumbe near Forest where three people had been shot.
26-year-old Joseph “Jo-Jo” Tyson was killed, and 26-year-old Robert White Jr. and 34-year-old Natasha Hill were wounded.
They are in serious condition at Lakeland Hospital. No suspects have been identified, and police are urging people to cooperate with the investigation.
