BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — This year’s Field of Flight event will feature two different airshows with two different themes.
This weekend’s airshow will be a salute to the military according to spokesman Bretton Bailey.
Navy Pilot Chris Walker says they will be demonstrating the Super Hornet attack fighter.
There will be a reenactment of the air war in the Pacific during WW-2, a demonstration of the Marine Osprey tilt-rotor and a few other demonstrations that Battle Creek has never seen before.
The Show this year on the 3rd and 4th of July will feature more high performance and civilian acrobatic teams, and a few of the military aircraft as well.
If the weather is right, there will be balloon launches in the evening..
