KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies are searching for a suspect who robbed a man at gunpoint during a staged sale.
The victim arrived at the Evergreen South Apartments on South 11th Street in Oshtemo just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to buy a cell phone that was listed on social media.
Instead, the interested buyer was met by a robber who pulled out a handgun, took all of the victim’s money, and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black man in his 20’s, about 5’10”, 200 pounds, wearing a black Nike hoodie and dark sweatpants.
