KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo teen is in custody after robbing a suspect at gunpoint during a sale.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were called to the Interfaith Homes around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday after the victim said he went to the complex to sell items to an unknown man.
That’s when the suspect pulled a gun on the seller, robbed him, and fled on foot.
He was later spotted on Woodward Avenue near Elizabeth Street and tried to run and resist officers, but he was caught.
The 18-year-old man was arrested for armed robbery and resisting and obstructing and some of the victim’s items were recovered.
