VOLIINIA TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Sheriff Deputies are searching for the hit and run driver who crashed into a bicyclist over the weekend, and left him injured along the roadway.
First responders were called to Decatur Road near Brewer Street just after 12:30 p.m. Sunday to investigate the crash.
They say 24-year-old Jason Howard from Decatur was riding his bicycle when he was struck from behind and the driver left the scene.
The vehicle is described as a silver colored Crown Victoria which now has right front-side damage.
Howard was rushed to Borgess Lee Memorial in Dowagiiac with minor injuries.
Anyone with information on the driver should contact the Cass County Sheriff’s office.
