FULTON (WKZO AM/FM) — The folks who bring you the Firekeepers Casino are inviting the public to a much different cultural celebration this week.
The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi will be holding a Pow Wow this weekend in Fulton, which is in south eastern Kalamazoo County.
Members of the tribe from all over the Midwest will be returning to dance, sing, play the drums and sell their crafts. It’s a large cultural gathering that they hope will increase public awareness of their native lifestyle and traditions.
It’s being held Saturday and Sunday at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation. part spectacle, part crafts fair and its free
