PAW PAW TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County Deputies say they have found the silver BWM initially used by wanted murder suspect Troy Taylor to drive away from a shooting late last week. It was found under a tarp behind a home near Paw Paw.
Police officers converged on the home in he 47000 block of 34-1/2 Mile Road in full tactical gear on the chance that Taylor might also be hiding out there.
After a standoff that lasted 6 hours, they discovered he was gone.
He is believed to be armed and dangerous and anyone knowing of his whereabouts should contact police and not try to engage with him.
They have identified his alleged victim as 40-year-old Timothy Arthur Henley who was apparently shot to death in the front yard of a home in the 31000 Block of Brandywine Rd. near Gobles in Pine Grove Township.
Warrants have been issued for Taylor, charging him with open murder and felony firearm.
More charges could be filed later.
A jury will also eventually look into if Taylor was trying to defend himself and his children when he fatally shot Henley.
