COMSTOCK (WKZO AM/FM) — According to the American Homebrewing Association, six of the best beers in the country come from West Michigan.
The best comes from Kalamazoo. Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale finished first and Bell’s Hopslam imperial IPA came in fourth.
Founders in Grand Rapids had two beers tied in 5th place and other beers in the 9th and 10th slot.
Larry Bell issued a statement in a news release saying, “This is an incredible honor, one that means a great deal to me personally and to everyone at the brewery. We have never sacrificed quality, and this is a testament to the hard work and dedication from everyone involved in getting this beer to our fans.”
