EMMETT TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Detectives are investigating an apparent gunfight in Emmett Township.
The loser of that exchange of gunfire is being treated at an area hospital, after he drove himself to the emergency room, but he is not cooperating with police.
Officers raced to the area where there were reports of gunfire at about 3:30 pm Saturday and found a crime scene near a home on Walnut Court where it appears that multiple shots were exchanged between two gunman.
Forensic teams are going over the scene to determine exactly what occurred, and they are asking for any help they can get from the public.
