PLAINWELL, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — They grow them big in the Grand River.
A record Black Buffalo, a kind of sucker fish was pulled out of the Grand River by Brandonn Kramer of Muskegon last month.
The 46-1/2 pound fish was taken by the bowfisherman May 25, 2018, and the record was verified by a wildlife specialist this week.
Kramer’s fish beat a fish that weighed two pounds less that was caught three years ago, also in the Grand River.
