HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a project meeting is set for 4 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Zeeland Community Center, 14 S. Church St.
MDOT officials will review plans for this year’s reconstruction work around the intersection of the I-196 business loop at Chicago Drive (M-121) in Zeeland.
Visitors will get details, scheduling and traffic information on this $6 million MDOT renovation.The project includes drainage upgrades, new traffic signals and extending 84th Avenue south to create a new intersection at the I-196 business loop.
The westbound I-196 exit ramp to I-196 loop will also be reconstructed and widened.

The meeting is open to all and will include an opportunity to talk with MDOT staff and put formal comments on file.
