HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A vote by Saugatuck Township’s planning commission has some residents fuming.
The board voted last night for the second time to allow a sand-mining operation in a residential section at Old Allegan Rd. and 133rd Avenue.
Upset residents say the decison leaves every Saugatuck Township homeowner vulnerable to having neighboring properties mined for natural resources.
