OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a gas station on Kalamazoo’s Westside.
A man claiming to have a gun walked into the Marathon Station on West Main Street, right next to U.S. 131 around 12:45 a.m. Monday and robbed the place.
Kalamazoo County Deputies say he demanded money from the overnight clerk and left with an unspecified amount of cash.
The robber is described as a large white male, about 6-foot, between 230-250 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, long dark shorts and a pair of work boots.
They say it was hard to determine his age because he was wearing a blue bandana over his face.
