(PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says stolen property and illegal drugs were seized when a search warrant was executed on Tuesday at a Pennfield Township home.
The search of the residence in the 19000 block of 11 Mile Road was in connection to a string of area home invasions that were being investigated by the Michigan State Police and Sheriff’s Departments in Calhoun, Barry and Eaton Counties.
Deputies found three scoped rifles, about 100 rounds of ammunition, a chest of silver flatware, two cellphones, a digital scale and four pounds of marijuana.
Two home invasion suspects both remain in police custody at the Calhoun County Corrections Center.
