LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A devastating crash in rural St. Joseph County has left three young adults dead.
Deputies say it appears the driver of a vehicle headed east on Fairchild Road misjudged a curve near Klinger Lake Road south east of Three Rivers at 2:18 a.m. early Saturday morning.
The car left the roadway and struck a tree with so much force that it tore the car in two.
All three inside the car were dead at the scene.
Deputies say the victims were 23-year-old Damian Long, 29-year-old Christina Slusher and 20-year-old Kassidy Robinette.
Investigators say speed was a factor and they are running tests and investigating.
