SOUTHFIELD (WKZO AM/FM) — It’s hard to say his strategy had anything to do with it, but a Michigan man who only buys odd numbered lottery tickets has won a two-million dollar jackpot.
The 22-year-old fan of the scratch off games probably isn’t too popular with clerks who have to tear off every other ticket to make him happy.
He told lottery officials he visited a Party Store in Southgate and bought the winning Diamond Dazzler, and scratched it off right at the store.
Lottery officials say he took his winnings as 1.3-million lump sum.
The man, whose name was not released, plans to buy a new car with the winnings and save the rest.
