HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Grand Haven drawbridge was stuck for several hours Friday afternoon, creating driving havoc for those headed north for the long holiday weekend.
The problem started at 1:45 p.m., according to a statement from th Otttawa County Sheriff’s Office.
MDOT officials were alerted and sent a specialist to make repairs. The problem was a mechanical issue is preventing the bridge from closing completely.
By 5 p.m. the bridge was back in working order/
