KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A special fund established a year ago in Kalamazoo to offer rewards for tips in crimes against cyclists got a boost this week.
It has grown to $3000 thanks to a gift from Bike Friendly Kalamazoo.
The money is being administered by the Silent Observer program.
The ceremonial check was delivered to Prosecutor Jeff Getting just before this week’s Ride of Silence in Portage.
