THREE RIVERS (WKZO AM/FM) — A two-year-old child is being turned over to Child Protective Services after he was found in Three Rivers.
Officials discovered the blonde haired, blue-eyed toddler just after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday playing along 8th Street.
An attempt was made to find the parents, but they were not successful and notified police.
Later, Three Rivers Police released a statement saying they identified the parents, but are withholding other details because of the age of the child.
It is usually left to Child Protective Services to investigate and recommend the appropriate remedy to family court, if required.
Sometimes kids just get away. Sometimes there are bigger problems.
