KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is now accepting applications for potential future officers.
The application process consists of an application, written test, background packet, agility test, and several interviews.
Potential officers can apply on the Kalamazoo Public Safety’s website from now until May 29th.
PSO’s are cross-trained as police officers, firefighters, and medical first responders to respond to any type of call they may receive.
No prior police or fire certifications are needed and offers will be given out in December.
