KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Two juveniles are in police custody after a break in and joy ride in a commercial building on the Kalamazoo’s Eastside.
Public Safety Officials were called to the 2000 block of East Michigan Avenue just after 9 p.m. Sunday after reports of a burglary alarm.
As officers were checking the exterior of the building they noticed 2 men driving forklifts recklessly inside.
One juvenile tried to escape by exiting through a roll up door but both suspects were later arrested for breaking and entering and malicious destruction of private property.
They are currently being lodged at the juvenile home.
