HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Tulip Time Festival’s annual Kinderparade is set to step off at 2 p.m. today on Holland’s Eighth Street, between Columbia Avenue and Kollen Park.
WHTC-AM/FM will have live coverage of the parade. The National Weather Service is calling for rain; the parade will go on, unless there’s lighteing.
A Dutch dance performance is set for 1 p.m., followed by a Kinder Dutch dance performance at 1:20 p.m. on Eighth Street.
A few tickets remain for tonight’s Liverpool Legends show, which starts at 7 p.m. Central Wesleyan Auditorium, 446 W. 40th St.
Tulip City Tours start at 9 a.m. today. The tolley is at Window on the Waterfront, on the corner of 6th St. and College Avenue.
Friends Good Will dockside tours at set for 9 a.m.-6 p.m. today. The replica Great Lakes sloop from 1810 owned and operated by the Michigan Maritime Museum. Tickets, $5 per person, are sold only at the East Dock entrance gate to the ship. A sunset sail is set for 6:30 p.m. and costs $55 per person; buy those tickets online.
Art In Bloom at the Holland Area Arts Council, 150 E 8th St. starts at 10 a.m. Visitors can also take in the annual Quilt Show.
The carnival continues today, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at the Civic Center Parking lot, at Pine Avenue between Seventh and Ninth streets.
