BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The family of Joseph Bowser II of Battle Creek has doubled the size of the reward in his untimely murder.
They are hoping someone will come forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who shot Bowser to death behind an apartment complex March 23, 2018.
They have added $1,000 to the money put up by Silent Observer to bring the total reward to $2,000.
The shooting death of the popular Battle Creek Central graduate who was working toward an engineering degree at Western Michigan University is still a mystery.
Bowser had been volunteering at a church facility helping to prepare it for Easter celebrations and visiting a friend when he was killed.
