KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Downtown Kalamazoo Inc.,Greenleaf Hospitality Group, and Central City Parking are asking for the public’s help beautifying the city.
The annual Downtown Kalamazoo Spring Cleanup takes place Wednesday May 2nd with morning and afternoon volunteer slots available.
Tasks will range from picking up trash to light landscaping work. The appropriate materials will be provided, but they are asking residents to bring work gloves, loppers, grabbers, etc. if they have them.

The morning group meets at 8:30 a.m. at Rugger’s Up & Under Parking lot and the afternoon group meets at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place at 12:30 p.m. with lunch provided in between.
