KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo physician is off the hook with the local courts but remains in the crosshairs of Immigration officials.
Charges of child abuse, specifically that Dr. Lukasz Niec bit his daughter have been dismissed, after the allegation was brought by his ex-wife.
The new allegation drew attention to a few scrapes with the law that Niec had back when he was a teen, and he has been dragged into immigration court to prove he isn’t a menace to society.
He was brought to the U.S. when he was a pre-schooler and has been a legal immigrant ever since.
He is back at work at Bronson Hospital. The Immigration case is still ongoing.
