CASCO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Allegan County Deputies are not saying much but they say they have a subject in custody following an assault that sent a woman to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday in a house on the 6,700 block of 103rd Avenue in Casco Township just north of South Haven.
Allegan County Deputies and State Police both responded to calls of a shooting at the address and found the woman bleeding from at least one gunshot wound.
She was admitted to a local hospital in serious condition.
Forensic teams worked into the evening at the address.
