KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A man has been arrested for arson following a house fire Sunday night in the 800 block of Myers Street in the Edison Neighborhood.
The first Public Safety officers at the scene around 9:15 p.m. found smoke and flames coming from the north side of the home and the resident having difficulty breathing in the front yard.
First responders treated and released the man at the scene.
It took them about an hour to bring the fire under control.
The Fire Marshal investigated and a suspect was arrested for arson of a dwelling.
No details were offered on how they made the connection.
